Duties & Responsibilities
The primary duties of an attorney in the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit include: (1) to participate as a member of multidisciplinary teams (lawyer, auditor, investigator, nurse investigator, analyst) in investigating alleged cases of fraud and abuse by providers in the Georgia Medicaid program, and cases of alleged abuse or neglect of patients in long term care and nursing home facilities; (2) to indict and prosecute cases of Medicaid fraud and patient abuse; and (3) to represent the State of Georgia in civil cases brought under the Georgia False Medicaid Claims Act. POSITION IS LOCATED IN TUCKER / NORTHLAKE AREA.

Minimum Training & Experience
Member of the Georgia Bar AND graduation from an accredited law school. Preference will be given to applicants with 4 or more years of prosecution experience.
