Attorney General Sam Olens Pledges to Defend HB 87 in Court

Attorney General Sam Olens released the following statement regarding the lawsuit filed today against the Governor, the Attorney General and other State officials challenging HB 87:

“I believe the plaintiffs’ claims are meritless and baseless. We will vigorously defend this lawsuit with the full resources of the Attorney General’s office. HB 87 was validly enacted by the General Assembly. An Arizona statute mirroring a substantial portion of HB 87 was upheld by the United States Supreme Court last week.”
